New Construction
Arizona Comfort Systems is the largest and only residential provider of Comfort Systems in Sierra Vista and Cochise County.

We belive there is a difference between just heating and cooling a home and a complete comfort system. Listed below is the complete process we take every time a New home is constructed

Knowledge of Construction

For a house or dwelling to function properly, it must be constructed properly. A house or structure does not just consist of bricks, mortar, or lumber, but all these components need to be fitted together properly in order for the house to have functionality, and to provide comfort to the occupants. It is a fact that without the marriage of construction and function you can expect to give up some comfort, probably pay more in energy cost, not to mention living with unnecessary allergies or respiratory problems.

If function and construction are applied together, your house will then become what is known as a system and deliver a level of comfort that is noticeably different and environmental friendly.

At Arizona Comfort Systems, we work with all of our new homebuilders to try to achieve this goal. We stay current on all building science and trends. We take into consideration all the components of the home (system) requirements of the occupants, specific needs, usage, etc.. Analyze appliances, design, orientation and application to custom build a product that will be reliable, durable, and meet the value expectations of your budget.

Selecting a Builder

Once you have established your design and floor plan you will want to seek out a builder. We suggest you do some research and make sure you ask about the following:

History: How long has this builder been in business, what type of construction or houses does he specialize in. Ask about credentials, industry connections and involvement, Better Business Bureau, Register of Contractors, and trade associations.

Sub Contractors: Does the builder have relationships with all his subcontractors and will he allow you to meet with them to discuss your specific needs and requirements. Will they educate you on new products that might improve your quality of life but wont necessarily add to the cost of construction.

System Components: You need to do your homework on the type of products you would like in your new home – windows, doors, roofing, walls, insulation types, R-values & U-values. Learn and understand terms like “Low –E” windows and ask for features & benefits of each. Quality builders will be able to answer all these questions. There are other informative web sites you can go to such as: www.advancedenergy.org and/or www.ebba.org

Warranty: What kind of warranty does your builder provide, what warranties are provided through the sub-contractors, and / or manufacturers. At Arizona Comfort Systems we not only provide our customers with the manufacturers warranty, but we will also provide our customers with extended warranties on systems we install but offer an exclusive ACS Warranty that covers labor for up to 10 years.
